Regardless of her politics, whether you voted for her boss or not, she is is a woman worth listening to and watching. In this article she describes the hurdles of race and gender that she overcame and how she prevailed by "being twice as good." She briefly described her upbringing in Birmingham, Alabama and her philosophy on women becoming empowered. This story should be shared with our daughters.
